4ft Medium Cross-Shore wind * * *
Polzeath Surf Report Photo
Polzeath 8.45: Despite the continuing unpleasant weather, the surf conditions continue to be exceptional as they have for the last 6 weeks. This morning the wind is cross off and there is a swell giving us faces of about shoulder high on the sets. The swell size is going to increase during today and over the weekend so that by Sunday evening there will be some enormous waves hitting our shores; this is going to stay until Tuesday or Wednesday next week. During the weekend the wind will tend to be a little bit more onshore in direction but with this much swell about and with low tides in the middle of the day there will be plenty of opportunities of finding shelter from the wind and some great rides. Low water is today at 10.30 with high tide at 4.30pm. I’m going to be here this morning and tomorrow morning between 10 and 12.30. Drop in and take a look at what we are up to, we have boards to look at boards to try, we can repair your board and of course make you a board to your own exact specifications.

About Escape Surfboards
At Escape Surfboards we are dedicated to producing the best surfboards that are going to suit all surfers, no matter what your ability. We have been working on several new designs over the winter that will get the best out of our slack summer waves. As well as refining our already successful designs we have taken a look at what has been going on in the rest of the world and the results are the all new Kiwi Burst which is a new take on the mini-mal/Flying Carpet concept with a wider body and diamond tail. The Kiwi Burst can be surfed either as a single fin, Thruster or Quad and will be sold exclusively through Magic Seaweed. The second board is the Mini-S which is very much a mini-simms design with its distinctive parallel outline, S deck, with hull shaped bottom entry leading to single concave in the tail; surfed either as a keel twin or quad the Mini-S will be a great board for beating the summer small surf blues. We specialize in making boards in either polyester or epoxy resin and can fix your board in almost any construction.
