4ft Medium Offshore wind * * * *
Surf conditions at 7.35 a.m. on Saturday 29th December 2012: Yep, here's the place for a surf today! Again! The wind is pretty much straight offshore, lighter than yesterday so far and way lighter than last night! The swell is banging through, and we're still getting that more peakier set up courtesy of the stream in flood. There are some chunky, barreling righthanders flying off the rock and there's a bit of a closey outey peak further down the beach. But all of that is on the dropping tide, so you have to wonder how good it might be when the tide turns? I think that we can safely expect a decent four feet of hollow waves with bigger waves on those swinging sets. If the wind stays light. And from the same direction. And it would be nice to see some proper daylight today. But apart from that......
