Medium Onshore wind
Surf conditions at 7.15 a.m. on Thursday 1st November 2012:
The Halloween moon was particularly spooky last night amongst those clouds don't you think?
Autumn seems to have us in its firm and breezy grip this week, with that westerly wind blowing meaty showers across the bays while air temperatures are flip flopping all over the place.
And so the surf is as you'd expect; three feet of mixed up and wind driven rollers, clawing their way up the beach, massively tempting if it were bright and summery but a bit off-putting in driving showers! But, after saying that, it has been a bit better than it looked all week, so maybe there might be a few nuggets to be had at HTC this afternoon? If it is light enough that is!
It might just be better to have a little look over the headland and see what Harlyn is up to......
And while I think about it, we're offering an amnesty on our FCS demo fins! If you've demo'd a set of fins and haven't yet returned them, for whatever reason, then now's the time! Just drop them back to the shop, no questions asked! We would just love to see them back - our selection is empty! And don't worry, we know how easy it is to overlook returning them and then time rolls on and it all becomes a hassle but if you do have any sets of fins to return, now is the time! Give them to a friend to bring back or just pop 'em in the post box, we're not going to charge you!
