Eight-time ASP World Champion and current ratings leader Kelly Slater (USA) will meet 2000 ASP World Champion and wildcard Sunny Garcia (HAW) in Heat 8 of Round 3 and reigning ASP World Champion Mick Fanning will meet wildcard Yadin Nicol (AUS) in Heat 9.
