Quality, affordable Surfboard ding repairs from Cressey’s Surf Academy specialist Wes Grove.

Born in South Africa, Wes currently resides in South Wales. Surfing since the age of 4 years old, he has been involved with all spheres of surfing, from surf coaching to competitive surfing across the world.

Wes offers over 8 years experience in ding repair, working initially under the wing of expert shaper David’s Stubbs (Stubby Surfboards, South Africa) as Factory Manager, overseeing all aspects of shaping and ding repair. Here Wes also taught ding repair and all uses of resin for board repair, eventually moving on to open his own repair shop in his home town of East London, South Africa, where he fixed well over 400 boards.

Wes is happy to offer a ding repair service that meets your needs, with an average repair time of 2-3 days ensuring you can get back in the water as soon as possible! Depending on location, for an extra fee a pick up and drop off service is also available.
