Dusty Payne in Mexico and happy not to be on tour. Sandy barrels beat the grind hands-down but the heartbeat of competition never stops pulsing.
“Dusty is feeling really good this year.” Says brother Dylan. “He’s healthy and really focused on logging substantial amounts of time in good waves. To be honest he is probably happier than he has been in a long time. And he’s only just turned 25. His competitive career is not over, but I do think he is enjoying this sabbatical at the moment. But he is currently planning on traveling to Brazil to compete in the first prime event of the year at the end of May.”
