Some surf trips exist as a distant dream, something to occupy your mind in moments of spontaneous musing. Alaska is one of these destinations, a region which due to cost, inaccessibility and the hostile climate, few of us will venture to.
Frenchman, Damien Castera, is one of the minority who refused to let Alaska remain a dream. He has spent the past two months surfing, hiking and living a near self sufficient lifestyle. He fishes for food, sleeps in a rough encampment and employs pepper sprays as a self-defence weapon against bears, or any of the other wild life you can encounter there. This beautiful flick gives an overview of what Damien’s been experiencing for the past 60 days.
