Digital Designer – South Devon

Magicseaweed is looking for a talented digital designer to join their team in South Devon. The role will have a diverse set of responsibilities covering all design elements for Magicseaweed.


With a global audience in excess of 1.7 million unique users per month, a substantial e-mail database and growing App user base, Magicseaweed provides an unparalleled surf forecast, media and retail platform.

The role splits responsibility between all digital design for our retail store and a supporting role for digital content for our forecasting website and app, working alongside our UI team, as well as integrations and projects for our clients and brand marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Producing all digital design for Magicseaweed covering Web, E-commerce & App
  • Manage workflow to deliver all creative in timely manner
  • Develop e-mail templates to meet business requirements
  • Use businesses ESP to execute retail e-mail campaigns
  • Create media kits and bespoke proposals for B2B clients
  • Review commercial performance of creatives
  • Develop excellent and strong working relationships with key stakeholders within business
  • Deliver creative strategies across multiple digital communications channels; including social media, display, email and online video for special projects


  • Excellent flair for design with an eye for detail
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Strong knowledge of designing for web
  • Keen eye for design trends
  • Excellent communications skills with pro-active approach
  • Experience in animation
  • Knowledge of design for print
  • Interest and experience in Photography preferred
  • Knowledge of the Surf industry & products, ideally a frequent surfer

Salary: £20,000 - £25,000
